New Nico Venue Opens in Glasgow

Six by Nico, a Glasgow-based restaurant group, has announced the opening of its third location in Glasgow. Six by Nico Byres Road will be open daily from Monday to Sunday, starting from 12 pm until late, with a capacity of 52 people. The restaurant is located at 358 Byres Road, Glasgow, and will be open to the public from Monday, 27th February 2023.


The launch theme for the new restaurant is Tokyo, and it will be available from Monday 27th February until Sunday 9th April 2023. Guests can view the Tokyo six-course tasting menu on the restaurant's website. The restaurant features a constantly evolving tasting menu, with each course serving as the perfect transition to the next, and a new menu is introduced every six weeks.


Nico Simeone, the chef behind Six by Nico, launched his first restaurant in Finnieston, Glasgow, in 2017. He subsequently opened his second site in Edinburgh in 2018. In 2019, he expanded outside Scotland, opening restaurants in Belfast, Manchester, Liverpool, and London's Fitzrovia. In 2021, Six by Nico opened a flagship restaurant at London's Canary Wharf, and Dublin City Centre, Ireland, and Aberdeen in 2022 followed. Six by Nico Byres Road is the brand's 11th restaurant site across the UK and Ireland.
