Chinese week 🇨🇳 at Mystery Diners so we had to have a takeout! @lychee_glasgow has been a long time favourite of mine as I used to work in the area and am happy to say I was one of its first customers when it opened roughly 6 years ago. 😊 I truly consider it one of Glasgow’s little gems 💎 as it’s located in a notoriously difficult trading spot which has seen many come and go (more recently So La, barely lasted a year in this area). They have stood the test of time and it’s not hard to see why with the chef and owner becoming a tv star.

The guy is super attentive, hands on and cares passionately about food and it transfers to every experience I have had with this venue. 👏🏻 The workers lunch was always my favourite, amazing value. I ordered the Chicken Satay every time so it was a must when we made our order through @ubereats_uk. I was intrigued by the Duck in Plum Sauce. Duck goes either way with me it’s either bloody brilliant or a fat mess! 🤣This I am pleased to say is one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. 😋 Minimal fat and beautiful tender meat. The plums were a gorgeous fruity addition. This dish is a must try!

The OH had the spring rolls which he said was one of the best he had ever had and the Tofu Curry which was spicy and satisfying. 💓

This place is Essential! Be sure to order and visit when it re-opens!
